Counselor: The Counselor ensures that participants reside in a clean, healthy, and safe environment while supporting and attending to participant needs and facilitating fun camp activities!

Majors that will excel in this position: Rehabilitation Science, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Special Education.

Healthcare Associates: The Healthcare Associate is primarily responsible for distributing medication, providing appropriate professional medical support, and supporting personal care routines.

Majors that will excel in this position: Nursing, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Physicians Assistant.

Counselors and Healthcare Associates remain on campus overnight during all retreats at The Woodlands. Staff in these positions will work 2 weekends per month in the fall and spring semesters.

Director of Facility Experience: The Director of Facility Experience (DOF) is responsible for the daily operations of The Woodlands campus and facility. Areas of responsibility include Building and Grounds, Maintenance and Repair, Rentals and Leases, Food Service, and Vendor Relations (Mechanical and IT). In addition to proactive management of these areas, the DOF will be responsible for the department’s financial operations including budgeting, purchasing, and large-scale projects.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director and supports the chairperson of the Board of Directors standing committee for Facility Management.
